A very classy lapis lazuli and sterling silver bead necklace with some lovely signature twists, designed and hand crafted by accomplished Kewa Pueblo artists James and Doris Coriz. The traditional necklace design has four elements. It consists of 93 torus beads and the central 5 are separated with 6 heishi cylinders. The ends of the string consist of cylindrical heishi blocks of 11 beads. The small sterling silver clasp is accented with spherical sterling silver beads. As well as the typical intense blue colouring, the string features stones of pale blue, white, gold and grey. Even the typically coloured stones have lovely inclusions, giving a very pleasing overall look to the piece. James and Doris's designs never fail to surprise and please and this one uses colour contrasts and combinations of technique to produce a delightful result.
